Give some movie examples, maybe a small list and then give a deeper review of one or two movies that fit within the subject. Stephen King's The Monkey has been brought to life this year in Oz Perkins, The Monkey. The short story was first published in 1980 as a booklet and then added to a compilation of King's stories in Skeleton Crew(1985). A movie that was clearly influenced by his story was The Devil's Gift (1984). It was even a Dollar Baby and a short film released in 2023. I discuss all this and more in the episode.
